You have deep experience in B2B marketing with experience at technology or software companies. Your past success in executing programs that drive demand and accelerate return will make you an ideal fit for the marketing team at Herrmann.

Finally, we’re a remote organization and, as such, you are comfortable working independently, as part of a geographically dispersed team, reporting to the VP of Marketing.

What you’ll do:

As Sr. Manager of Customer Acquisition, you will be responsible for increasing pipeline and market penetration, catching the attention of target prospects at target companies, and building lead gen programs to support a verticalized sales team. Your success will be based on the number of quality SQLs you generate, given the resources available to you. The quality of SQLs will be determined by the number of sales opportunities our partners on the sales team are able to generate from your leads.

We use HubSpot and digital advertising technology like Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, Reddit Ads, and other platforms as necessary. You don’t need to be an expert in each platform, but you must be willing and able to adapt and evolve, as needed.

Example Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with with VP of Marketing and Sales leadership, to create strategy for growing share of key vertical markets, staying vigilant for new market opportunities.
  • Develop and execute integrated strategic marketing programs aligned to sales priorities and revenue targets, including but not limited to ABM campaigns, demand generation campaigns, executive programs, sales events, and co-marketing partner programs
  • Contribute to the development of interesting and engaging content to support your lead gen campaigns. Work with creative and digital teams to get marketing content and campaign assets produced.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and creative resources to develop compelling campaign themes to capture and convert market interest.
  • Manage and execute digital marketing campaigns using available technology and team resources.
  • Track and manage marketing KPIs relevant to your campaigns, projects, and objectives. Manage and report on budget and expenses in detail, liaison with finance partners.
  • Communicate, communicate, communicate. Lead briefing sessions with sales, account, product and other functional partners to review programs and quantify marketing effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships. Work closely with cross-functional teams (product and sales) and other business & association partners to create and execute marketing programs and develop relationships critical for success.

Must Haves

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales funnel and pipeline management
  • Strong budget management and marketing analytics knowledge and experience
  • Proven success executing, coordinating and measuring lead generation programs
  • At least, 2 years experience in B2B marketing
    Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, technology-focused organization
  • Experience planning and executing ABM campaigns
  • Minimum 1 year HubSpot experience
  • 4+ years or equivalent lead generation experience
  • Ability to travel up to 15%, as needed


  • Previous remote work experience
  • Proximity to Boston or NYC
  • Experience with digital communication, collaboration, and project management tools: Slack, Asana, Google Suite, Zoom Meetings, Airtable, Etc
  • Familiarity with the Management Consulting Industry, Finance Industry, or Human Resources Industry
  • Preference for Apple Products ;)
